Apples premium resellers in South Africa are now taking reservations on the new MacBook Pro M2, starting from R24,999. The iStore has announced that the new MacBook Pro is now open for pre-orders, as well as pricing, in both the 14-inch and 16-inch models in South Africa.

The two laptops are identical on the outside, but thanks to its second-generation M2 chip, Apple says that the latest MacBook Pro is up to 1.4 times faster than the previous-generation MacBook Pro, and six times faster than an Intel-powered model. A successor to its M1 processor, its second-generation M2 chip is a newer, even stronger chip from Apple, and it claims to offer better performance, efficiency, and battery life than competing Intel-powered laptops, and even compared with the previous-generation MacBook pro.
